So many of you have reached out to us to ask when on-farm and other volunteer opportunities will begin. We’ve been as eager as you to be together in the fields once again, and miss our extraordinary volunteers so much! So, we are beyond thrilled to announce the official start of this season’s farm gleanings.
Beginning Wednesday, June 10th, we’ll be welcoming volunteers and groups to help us plant, tend and harvest delicious organic vegetables for donation to our neighbors in need, up at the new Rolling Harvest fields at Gravity Hill Farm in Titusville, NJ., right near Lambertville.
- Every Wednesday and Saturday 9-11 am in-season. Kids 10 and older welcome. Always double-check with us for cancellations due to dangerous weather conditions.
- Please continue to bring your own masks and gloves and plan on practicing safe social distancing. Map

Gravity Hill Farm was founded in 2005 as a small family farm, dedicated to teaching about nature—and nurturing—through organic farming and raising animals. Co-owners David Earling and Maria Nicolo wanted to create a farm rooted in their community, and of service to that community. As of the 2020 farm season, all growing at Gravity Hill Farm will benefit Rolling Harvest Food Rescue t o assist us in our mission to distribute fresh produce to neighbors in need. Throughout the farming season, there will be plenty of opportunities for volunteers and visitors to enjoy the beauty of the farm, groups to visit the education garden, and interact with the many animals that call Gravity Hill Farm home!
James and Alex Klett are brothers, business partners, and founders of Fairgrown Farm. Together, with the help of countless friends and the support of the community, they work hard to produce great food that everyone can enjoy! Starting this year, they will be our main growers for Rolling Harvest donation fields at Gravity Hill Farm, and will also be donating 20% of everything they grow for Fairgrown Farm!
