Celebrate Earth Day, on Sunday, April 22, 9:30-10:00 AM with Rolling Harvest Food Rescue and Wrightstown Friends Meeting at a “healthy fresh food drive” for nearby food pantries. If you would like to contribute, bring fresh, nutritious fruit and vegetables such as sweet potatoes, onions, apples, citrus, carrots and other and healthy shelf-stable produce.

From 10:15 to 11:00 AM, Cathy Snyder, Founder of Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, will speak to the children at the Sunday School on the topic of local food security and nutrition. She will also cover where food comes from, what healthy nutrition means, and how fresh produce can be shared more equitably in our community. Anyone who would like more information is welcome to stay until 11:20 AM when Cathy will discuss Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, its origin, development, network, and volunteer opportunities. Q&A, and snacks, will follow. All are welcome.
