Cathy Snyder, Founder and Executive Director of Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, joins local food and social justice experts at a Food and Social Justice Forum presented by the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Local experts will discuss the new face of hunger, its root causes and innovative approaches to alleviating food-insecurity and food-inequality. Expert panelists include:
Cathy Snyder: Founder and Executive Director of Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, connecting our local farmers with neighbors in need.
Tony D’Orazio: Owner of Carversville Farm Foundation, growing organic produce and proteins for donation to our area’s food pantries and soup kitchens.
John Crooke: Owner of Tinicum CSA, pioneered the donation of organically-grown farm shares direct to food-insecure families.
Pastor Vicky Allen: from First United Methodist Church of Fairless Hills, PA, the coordinator of their successful food pantry program
